Plants

Stone | Water | Wood | Plants | Light
Foliage color, texture, shape, dimension, seasonality—these are just a few of the elements we consider when creating balanced plant compositions and vignettes that work well in our climate.

Plants are the most dynamic part of the garden. They change through the cycles of the seasons and over the course of their lives.

When designing planted spaces, we begin by paying keen attention to the surrounding landscapes, and consider how your garden will integrate with the architecture of your home, your personal style, and your neighbors' adjoining spaces.

Our design philosophy focuses on creating harmony, interest, and balance in a way that preserves views and screens less desirable perspectives.

We are so lucky in the PNW to have so many wonderful natives, pollinators, edibles, conifers and perennials that thrive here in our climate.

Our goal is to create seasonal interest all year with the right balance of show vs. maintenance for each client that we serve.

I am SO happy with the final result! I mean jump up and down happy! I’m just thrilled at how it all looks. It’s an amazing transformation and I’m able to walk around on those walkways so easily and get up and down the stairs so much better. Thank you for being so easy to work with and so clear with all that went into making this such a success. – Laurie
